Sunday, Sept 11: Rally Sunday
Learn about Youth Gathering 2012
The National Youth Gathering will be in New Orleans in 2012. Registrations are due in
early October so hustle to one of these informational meetings to learn more. Open to
students entering grades 9-12.
Saturday, Sept. 10 - 6:30 pm at church or
Sunday, Sept. 11 approx 12 noon (during the potluck so grab a plate and come)

High School Youth “Kickoff” Party – Sunday, September 11
Don’t miss the fall “kickoff” party for grades 8-12. Minnesota Vikings vs. San Diego
Chargers. 3:00 pm at the Lien's house: 1095 Riverwood Drive SW, Oronoco.

Typical Activities – watch newsletter, bulletins, and youth bulletin board:

· Movie Night for families

· Youth-led worship service

· Middle school lock in

· High school lock in

· Snow tubing

· Canoeing

· Game night for families

· Family softball game and potluck meal in May

· Trip to Valleyfair

· Christmas “Love Project” shopping

Fund-raising Activities:

· Christmas tree sales

· Wednesday night supper during Lent – each grade (grades 7 – 12) prepares, hosts, serves, cleans up for one of the suppers

· Easter morning breakfast

· Pie Stand during Cheese Fest (2^nd weekend in June)
