Wishing for a potluck? Bring a dish to pass and join us for Food and Fellowship
Wed, Sept 1, 6:00 pm.
Choir practice begins Sept 8th. La La La La La!
Rally Sunday! Youth SS begins Sept 12.
As Pastor Kip says "The Russian Eagles have landed". Kip and Laurie arrived home
with their new daughters, Angela and Alena, on Sat, July 24th. Our job is to patiently wait to meet the Groettum
girls, as Kip and Laurie help these winsome 2-year-olds learn what 'family' means. Tentatively there will be
an early fall baptism and reception. Watch the church newsletter for more news.

August 26 Newsletter
We wanted to bring to your attention that the
Education article, in the last newsletter, incorrectly stated that "Students in grades 1st through 5th will have Sunday
school at 9:30am". This should have read "1st through 6th grade". 3 year olds
through Kindergarten will attend during the 10:30 worship service, as stated in the article. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

September 1 – Pot Luck - bring a dish to share
Thank you
so much to the families and groups who provided meals this summer -- and to those who livened the fellowship hall up by joining
in for supper!

Newsletters If you would like your son/daughter
to receive the church newsletter while at college, please call the office at 507/356-8925 or e-mail us at saintpaulpi@yahoo.com with their name and school address. We would be happy to get them on our mailing list. Calendar Posting The church calendar is posted
on the west entrance bulletin board for the use of all groups meeting in our building.
Help Our Janitors We ask that you help our our janitors by picking up dropped
food in the fellowship hall or youngsters' messes in the pews during worship. We must keep the coffee hour doughnuts
and cookies out of the sanctuary. There is much
traffic in our building and it is helpful if we all pitch in. Thanks for your cooperation!

Kevin Cardille, PI High School Principal, is trying to help one of his new teachers find an apartment or house
starting in August. She originally was going to stay where she currently lives, but realizes now it's
important to be close to the community. If anyone has a house/apartment they would be willing to rent (or have a friend/family
member ... please forward this to them), she is in her mid-20s, and has a border collie ... medium-sized. Kevin
asks that anybody that may have a solid lead, should contact him directly at the high school: 356-8326. Thanks.
