Calendar Posting
The church calendar is posted on the west entrance bulletin board for the use
of all groups meeting in our building.
2010 Women’s Retreat: ROOTS & WINGS
March 20, 2010—8 AM to 8 PM including:
- A comfortable bus ride to and from the Wisconsin Coulees from Saint Paul Lutheran
- We’ll visit Norskedalen Heritage & Nature Center in Coon Valley WI including treats, entertaining speaker, arts & music, hiking for those interested; have lunch at the historic Borgen’s Café and time to relax or tour Westby, WI; a scenic drive through the Wisconsin coulees; and dinner at a special La Crosse restaurant . We’ll explore immigrant experiences (ROOTS); learn how Lutherans have and continue to support immigrants (WINGS) and how we can support others who are new to our community.
- All expenses except dinner are included in the event price of $45. You choose and pay for your own dinner.
- A relaxing bus ride home
- Registration forms are located in the narthex and church office. We are limited to 45—register soon!
Women's Circles or Bible Study
Join us for circle. This is a wonderful way
to meet other members of Saint Paul's congregation.
Women of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church of America (WELCA)
WELCA meets 5 times
a year, and also spear-heads the Annual Church Bazaar in November. WELCA
coordinates our six Service Groups, which provide luncheon food for
the bazaar, and serve lunch at funerals. All confirmed members of Saint
Paul Lutheran Church are on one of the six service groups. Please say "yes" when
called to donate food, time or money to this worthwhile service." Contact
person for WELCA is current President Joanne Sanborn. 2009 Schedule
Quilting on Tuesdays
Whether you are an experienced quilter or someone that would like to learn,
our quilters invite you to join them on Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. Fall through
Spring.
